Crafting Culinary Love Stories

The story began when Jamestown Merc Chef/Owner Rainbow traveled outside of the walls of the historic Jamestown Mercantile building, wandering out into the world with offerings and provisions and love.

Kitchen Story is based on the idea of bringing people together for the fine art of eating. When we dine, we delight in the destruction of the given creation - and in turn, we nourish ourselves. Kitchen Story is based on this transformation, on the belief that this is the ultimate act of being alive in the present moment. When we share food together, we are vital participants. We are all a part of the magic. Every meal can be a celebration of this human experience.

With events ranging from small intimate weddings to large family picnics, from sacred psychedelic journeys to pop-up art festivities, Kitchen Story is also a love story about the devotion and attention to the creative force that is born from the wonder of food.
